1. Scope
These Subscription Terms apply to subscriptions, memberships, time-limited access plans, digital course access and recurring or non-recurring paid entitlements for YiChess. They supplement our Terms of Service, Refund Policy and checkout terms.
2. Subscription Products
Subscriptions may provide access to selected educational content, training tools, AI-powered post-game review software, AI review quotas, puzzles, learning reports, progress tracking and related digital product features.
Subscriptions do not provide cash prizes, prize pools, entry rights for prize events, redeemable credits, stored value, cash-out rights, betting rights, wagering rights or real-money gaming rights.
3. Automatic Renewal
Unless stated otherwise at checkout, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle until canceled. Billing cycles, price, currency, taxes, renewal date and payment method are shown at checkout or in your account.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel renewal through account settings, Paddle buyer support, Stripe-managed flows or another applicable provider process. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not automatically refund past charges unless required by law, stated at checkout or allowed under our Refund Policy.
5. Plan Changes
If plan upgrades, downgrades or changes are available, the billing effect will be shown in the applicable checkout or account flow. We may prorate, defer, immediately charge or schedule changes depending on provider capabilities and product rules.
6. Price and Feature Changes
We may change subscription features, prices or billing terms with notice where required. If you do not agree to a material change, you may cancel before the next renewal.
7. AI Review Quotas and Fair Use
AI review quotas, service credits and similar entitlements are non-transferable, non-withdrawable, non-redeemable for cash and have no value outside the platform. They may expire, be subject to fair use limits, rate limits, technical limits, anti-abuse controls and product rules.
Consumed AI review quotas, substantially used course access or substantially used digital features may affect refund eligibility as described in our Refund Policy.
8. Wallet and Alternative Payment Methods
Some payment methods, including wallet methods, may not support automatic recurring subscriptions or may support them only after provider approval. Where recurring billing is unavailable, we may offer one-time time-limited membership passes, course packs or AI review packs instead of automatically renewing subscriptions.
9. Payment Failure
If payment fails, is pending, expires, is canceled, is disputed or is reversed, we may suspend, delay, restrict or revoke paid entitlements until the payment provider confirms successful payment.
Paid features must not be activated solely based on a browser redirect or success page. Activation should occur only after reliable provider confirmation, such as a verified webhook, provider API query or provider-confirmed transaction status.
