Account and Login Security Policy

1. Supported Login Methods

We may support one or more login methods, including email/password, email verification code, magic link and Sign in with Google. Login methods may vary by region, device, risk level and product stage.

2. Email Verification

We may require email verification before you access paid features, request refunds, reset passwords, link or unlink Google, request account deletion, use selected security-sensitive features or perform other sensitive actions.

3. Passwords

If you set a password, keep it confidential and do not reuse it on other services. We store password hashes, not plaintext passwords. We may require password reset or re-authentication if we detect risk.

4. Google Sign-In

Google sign-in is optional and provided only as a third-party authentication method. Google does not sponsor, endorse or control YiChess.

If you use Google sign-in, we may receive limited account information such as Google account identifier, email, email verification status, name and profile image. You may request to unlink Google if another login method remains available.

5. Account Sharing and Transfer

You must not sell, rent, share, transfer or make your account available to others without our written consent. You are responsible for activity under your account.

6. Suspicious Activity

We may rate-limit, challenge, temporarily lock, suspend or review accounts when we detect suspicious login attempts, credential stuffing, verification code abuse, password reset abuse, account sharing, payment abuse, cheating, automation, sanctions risk or other security risks.

7. Account Deletion

You may request account deletion through support or account settings where available. Some payment, tax, fraud, chargeback, security, fair play, legal and compliance records may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.
