1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to purchases of subscriptions, course packs, AI review packs and other digital products or online services for YiChess, unless a checkout page, mandatory law or payment provider rule provides different rights.
2. Standard Refund Window
Unless stated otherwise at checkout or required by law, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase. Refunds are not automatic and are subject to this Policy, product usage, provider rules, fraud checks and mandatory consumer rights.
3. Refunds May Be Granted
We or the relevant payment provider may grant refunds for:
- duplicate charges;
- accidental purchase reported promptly and before substantial use;
- technical failure preventing access after reasonable troubleshooting;
- unauthorized payment confirmed by the payment provider;
- incorrect charge caused by our system error;
- other cases required by applicable law or approved by the payment provider.
4. Refunds May Be Denied
Refunds may be denied where:
- the subscription, course pack, AI review pack or digital content has been substantially used;
- AI review quotas or digital entitlements have been consumed;
- the request is outside the refund window;
- the account was restricted or suspended for cheating, fraud, abuse, chargeback abuse, payment abuse, Fair Play violations, gambling attempts, cash-out attempts, harassment, security attacks or serious policy violations;
- the payment provider’s terms do not allow the requested refund;
- the request appears fraudulent, abusive or inconsistent with mandatory law.
5. Paddle Purchases
For purchases processed by Paddle, Paddle may act as Merchant of Record, reseller or seller of record. Paddle’s buyer terms, checkout disclosures and support process may apply to refunds, taxes, chargebacks and receipts.
If Paddle instructs buyers to contact Paddle support, you should follow Paddle’s buyer support process. We may provide support information to Paddle where necessary to review a refund or chargeback.
6. Direct Purchases
For direct purchases processed by Vistasense AI Technology Limited through Stripe, bank transfer or another approved provider, contact billing@yichess.com or support@yichess.com with your account email, transaction ID, product purchased, purchase date and refund reason.
7. Wallet Payments
For Alipay, WeChat Pay or other wallet purchases made available through approved providers, refunds may be asynchronous and may take additional time to be confirmed. Refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method where technically possible.
We do not process refunds through private staff transfers, personal collection codes, crypto/USDT, informal wallets, cash-out channels or third-party accounts.
8. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you file a chargeback or payment dispute, access to the related paid entitlement may be suspended or revoked while the dispute is processed. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may result in account restrictions.
9. How to Request a Refund
Contact billing@yichess.com or support@yichess.com. Include your account email, transaction ID, product name, purchase date, amount, payment provider and refund reason. We may request additional information to verify the transaction and account.
